Para empezar, calienta el vaso con un poco de agua caliente y deséchalo antes de preparar la bebida. Remover el ron, el agua caliente y la mantequilla hasta que esta última se derrita por completo. Para un toque final perfecto y reconfortante, espolvorea generosamente con nuez moscada.
